1. Balance Your Water

Before temperatures drop, test and adjust your pool water levels:

• pH
• Alkalinity
• Calcium Hardness
• Sanitizer

Why: Balanced water avoids staining, scaling, and cloudy water. Since fiberglass surfaces are non-porous, they hold proper chemistry exceptionally well — which makes maintenance easier all season long.

2. Give Your Pool a Good Cleaning

A quick clean now means less work later. Brush the walls (even though fiberglass resists algae), vacuum the floor, empty skimmer and pump baskets, and remove leaves or seasonal debris. This prevents organic build-up that can affect water balance over time.
